Who We Are

Hoonies Adrenaline Limited (trading as Hoonies Competitions), registered in England and Wales with company number 16604879, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, is the data controller for personal data processed through hooniescompetitions.co.uk. What We Collect

• Account data: email address, password (stored as a hash, never in plain text), your confirmation that you are 18 or over, and the version of the terms you accepted.
• Order and entry data: orders, payment references from our payment provider, ticket reservations and confirmed ticket numbers. We never see or store your full card details — payment is handled on our payment provider's secure pages.
• Postal entry data: the name, address, email and answer you provide on a postal entry, plus its review status and allocated ticket number.
• Winner data: identity and eligibility verification, draw evidence, fulfilment and delivery records.
• Support and privacy request data: messages you send us and the records needed to answer them.
• Technical data: session, security and consent records. Analytics and marketing cookies are off by default — see our Cookie Policy.

Why We Process It

• To run competitions you enter (contract): accounts, payments, ticket allocation, draw administration, winner contact and prize delivery.
• To meet legal obligations: accounting and tax records, fraud prevention, and making winner information available as required by the CAP Code (see Winners below).
• Legitimate interests: site security, audit trails of sensitive actions, preventing duplicate or fraudulent entries, and enforcing entry limits and self-exclusion.
• Consent: marketing emails, and analytics or marketing cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time from your account, the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or the cookie settings page.

Winners and Publicity

If you win, we publish your surname, county and winning ticket number on our Winners page and will provide that information to anyone who requests it within three months of the competition closing date, as the CAP Code requires of prize promotions. You can object by contacting us before the draw; we may still be required to provide winner details to the Advertising Standards Authority. Any further publicity (your photo, video or first name) happens only with your consent.

Who We Share Data With

We share personal data only with the service providers needed to run the site — payment processing, transactional email, hosting and file storage — under contracts that restrict their use of it, and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires. We do not sell personal data.

How Long We Keep It

We keep entry, order, draw and winner records for as long as needed to demonstrate each competition was run fairly and to meet legal and accounting obligations (normally six years from the end of the relevant financial year), after which records are deleted or anonymised under our retention policy. Account data is kept while your account is active. High-risk fields are encrypted at application level and admin access to personal data is audited.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Submit a request from the form on this page or email info@hoonies.co.uk — we respond within one calendar month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
